Cho 2 tô nước, hành tây, xương gà, chân gà, đầu và cổ gà đã được chặt nhỏ vào nồi, hầm lửa vừa trong 30 phút (nếu sử dụng bếp điện từ hoặc bếp tia hồng ngoại thì chỉnh nhiệt độ 800).
Nấm hương khô ngâm nước 10 phút rồi rửa sạch, cắt làm ba. Khoai tây gọt vỏ rửa sạch, cắt khối nhỏ khoảng 3-4 cm.
Khi nồi nước dùng đã đun được 30 phút, cho nấm vào đun được 5 phút thì cho tiếp khoai tây vào đun 10 phút và nêm nếm gia vị cho vừa ăn.
Nếu đun dưới lửa to làm nồi canh có bọt như hình trên thì nên giảm lửa nhỏ và vớt bọt để nước canh trong và đẹp mắt hơn.
Cuối cùng khi múc canh ra tô các bạn nên vớt miếng hành tây bỏ đi nếu không thích ăn, thái nhỏ rau mùi rắc lên tô canh để canh vừa có mùi thơm vừa đẹp mắt nhé các bạn.
